    You need to get a life insurance (usually coupled with health insurance) license for your state and any other states you want to be able to sell insurance in. Then you need to find a company or numerous companies that will allow you to sell their products. Maybe visit a local agent in your area…who knows, they may be hiring and be willing to license and train you.

    If you want to know the licensing requirement google the name of your state and “department of insurance” and it should show you the website for your state’s Department of Insurance (they may go by a different name, but the search will still work). On that site, there should be a listing of requirements to obtain a license.
